Evening all,

Quick question regarding the fitment and placement of a pod filter for an ST205.

- how is the best way to go about fitting such a device and finding the space for it in the engine bay?

Here is my thought so far - Relocate battery to boot, remove stock airbox, remove inner right headlamp and have a pipe from that hole leading to a cold airbox with pod filter inside.

It seems rather complex, what alternative solutions are out there?

Cheers

Fisch

ALSO - I found a link to a japanese site on this forum that sells parts RG garage or something similar, being on a work computer (haha) none of the history is saved, can someone point me in the right direction

I have a red Samco hose and HKS 'reloaded' intake using the standard cold feed from the standard air box (in the wing).

RG Garage usually advertise on ebay but they are very expensive.
You are better off posting in the wanted section here, checking the Fensport site (you get a discount as a club member) or keeping an eye out on ebay.

thanks for that Muddy water, the only benefit I can see from buying from RG garage is a potential saving in shipping. Postage of large items from the UK im sure will be murder.

 what you describe is compex!

I hate P.O.S POD filters.

A needless modification when the factory carbon plastic cold air box , large surface area panel filter, factory cold air feed is so well packaged and does the job it was designed for so very well.

The like of HKS and APexi etc have done a bloody good job brain washing the modding community that after market induction & sound is preferable to a quality well designed and packaged filtration system and cold air feed.

Rant over

^^ haha Indeed, however I could feel a noticable improvement through the pedal with the HKS Mushroom filter installed, not a massive difference, but a difference nonetheless. .

(car was originally running stock airbox with a TOMS panel filter

Next job is an cold box for the mushroom
