hmm, not a lot of options m8
option:-
1 ) Buy Aussie flexi only
2) Buy full exhaust system from blueflame or mongoose or scorpion? includes flexi, mid and rear sections.
3) buy stock toyota flexi from www.cheaptoyotaparts.co.uk

All teh HKS & Blitz systems are mid and rear sectiosn only (READ NO FLEXI INCLUDED)

Heh heh, as per my post on the OC. Powerflow dealer.

The garage I used does powerflow and they made a custom 3in flexi up for me and the invoice says £50

Granted there may be an element of mates rates in that but when you consider the cheapest standalone flexi you can buy is from HSR and is circa £150

I will probably have a full system off them when the time comes to upgrade. If I can get it in to their heads they are not doing a side exit on my car!

If you're just after a flexi it may be worth giving Hayward and Scott http://www.haywardandscott.com a call. They might not be the cheapest but the quality is top notch. I've got a 3" DP, front pipe and flexi section from them.

Which car is that on JP? 205 or 185?

Lee - 2.5" system will be fine.

The Aussie I think has a good reputation for quality, fitment and performance. I think they do both steel and stainless exhausts for the 185?

Just to add another "bit" to the pot, I think they can also offer theoption of fitting a performance cat into the exhaust, which you may find handy later if you remove the stock cat?

With an Aussie de-cat on a '92 model GT4 then you'll get away with a less restricted emissions test come MOT time.
My CS was registered in May '92. I will go de-cat.
Although I have posted before that it says in the Celica handbook that there are 2 x cat pipes on a stock system.....I guess the 2nd is the small box on the mid-section.....but I have been advised there is no 2nd cat pipe and that it's just a myth. I would imagine the 2nd box acts as a sound deadener more than a cat pipe....?

Steve - I have not come across a second cat on a UK car yet.

I believe this was for the US guys?

my JDM has a box just behind the flexi that looks and when tapped sounds very much like a cat.

by that i mean it is of alot tougher build than an exhaust box even a resinator and is fully seam welded.

oh and it will be going!!!
