Hi! I just got a t04e turbo (yes i know its oldscool be cheeeep!)
Now to the problem.. I also buyed a flange that converts the ct20b (ct26) to t3 . This plate is just 1,2cm thick . But i can´t fit the turbo!
The compressor is going on the gearbox/engine starter (sorry for bad formulating). My friend have buy the ordernary ebay adapter flange with wastegate flange but the the he had to replace the pipes for the clutchcylinder.So I wanted to be smarter but seems to be dumber
What should i do now ? buy a better plate or how have you done ?

i think the better solution is that you bring the turbo in a better position so that you have enought space to other engine parts
