i used the standerd seat rails and made and welded sum braskets to mount the recaro seat onto them, that sit a little bit higher but not that you can rely tell when you sti in them adn drive, it is so much better now with these seat, i used to think the car was still leaning a lot round bends but after fitting the recaro's i found that it was me leaning not the car lol :)

Sounds like a classic case of boost creep :-(
What is the turbo? It is not a Turbo Technics hybrid(I thought you were looking at them though?) and looks like it is quite a large 54 trim whilst still retaining twin scroll exhaust housing and twin wastegate setup. IMHO this is prone to boost creep.

Oops,
I didn't tell you how to check! Try disconnecting teh wastegate actuator arm from teh wastegate (so that the wastegate can open as soon as any exhaust gas flows). If it still boosts so high you have boost creep.

Can you describe what boost you get at what rpm (without a boost controller)

it is the Turbo Technics hybrid s148 as far as i know but i have bit toldthat TT sumtimes give the worng turbo out so it mite be the stage 2 witch is rated at 500bhp and 2bar lol i dont think it is boost creep as i ran the turbo just on actuator pressureadn ir spooled up to 1.5bar and more or less sat there, i did speak to TT about the boost pressure and thay said that i is ment to be set at 1bar but it mite just have a very stron spring in it as that do do all sorts of actutors for them and this 1 was sat on the shelf ready to go out, the only numbers that are on it are what you can see in the pics, Tt did say that i could lenthen the actuator bar a bit and that would lowre the pressure and then i can rais it with my controler, now that the turbo is fitted all i have to do is fit the 800cc injectors with the 8mm board out fuel rail and pressure regulator then back for a remap and see what we can get, im looking at runing 1.5-16bar of boost whne it is set up :)

ment to say that my old forge actuator i could just about move my hand but the new 1 that came fitted to the turbo wont move by hand now mater how hard i try and move it so im thinking it have a very strong spring in it im going to use a compressure to see what it takes for the bar to move on the actuator

Are you able to swap your old actuator onto the new turbo, might be worth it to 'rule out' any options on it.

It also seems to be the case that once you have a boost controller in charge it can be tricky to control if you're only going a bit higher than the actuator pressure. If you're looking at 1.5 bar then a 1 bar actuator would be easier to control.

Have you got any more pictures of the turbine inlet or wastegate area (ideally with the wastegate open?) If that really is a Turbo Technics S148 then either they sent the wrong one or have changed the design. The Turbo technics S148 from 2002-2008 was a single wastegate type not the standard Toyota twin wastegate setup. This is why I rated them so highly as they didn't boost creep.

Pictures... Stage 2? S175

well payed for a s148 and i went to TT and picked it up my self from them, not got any pics of the waste gate open sorry im just wondering if thay have given me the stage 2 by mistake i dont mind as it will help get the 400bhp im after i have 264 cams so can play with them to get it to spool up quick. The s148 i gave them to refreb was nakerd thats y i got a new 1 from them, but me and a mate did think that the new 1 looks biger than the 1 i gave them, and the 1 i gave then had a single waste gate.so dont know any more than that.

IMHO I would phone them and ask if the S148 still has a single port wastegate.

They have either changed the spec or you have been given the wrong turbo.
