Hi All, thought some of you may be interested in the following -

Professional brake upgrade for Celica ST205

The Brake kit includes:

1 x pair of 340mm x 30mm discs with alloy bells

2 X B34GT Light weight 10 pot caliper made from solid alloy billet

1X set of rally pads

2X mounting brackets.

Will fit with our Ultralite 17" wheel as pictured, we have also mounted a TTE 17" wheel without problem.

Price is £1995.00 including vat

The kit can be used with standard brake hoses, or our stainless braided hoses, which are available from us at £176.19 including vat.

Hi Adrian,

These look the muts nuts.

ooking for a brake upgrade myself. I know in the grand scheme of things its quite a small cost but i would be interested in estimated costs for the replacement disks pads for regular servicing of this kit.

Hi Mat, I'll look into it for you.
I don't think you will find the wear rate particularly high, I am on my second year with my discs and my pads lasted all last year with no problems.

The discs & bells are 599 +vat
and pads are from 129 +vat

I guess the disc rotors can be replaced separately as there's no need to replace the bell? Assuming they are available as a separate item this would reduce the cost to some extent.

Any idea of the brake balance running this setup on the front and retaining OEM rear discs and calipers?

Hi Don, it is Tarox`s policy to replace bells with discs, as history has shown this to be a more reliable to replace them as matched pairs. There have been in the past some customers claiming a warranty when they have incorrectly fitted/torqued or cleaned the bell.

The balance is the same as oem, all tarox kits are designed with piston sizes to match the master cylinder correctly.
