Thanks Johny.

I found a couple of pics on my desktop - again not great but hopefully give you more of an idea:

I should have my car back relatively soon - as you're only in Woking sure we could arrange a pub meet and you can have a look at them in real life.

with the solid black seats, they havent aged a day since they were made. Look like seats you can buy today. With the recaro interior, are the door cards trimmed differently?? Also, to convert my interior, would I have to change the dash or is it just door cards, front and rear seats??

For some reason I think my car has extremely dark blue plastic/leather throughout :D

Thanks very much for the pics John/Sirius! They look awesome :O... I think I might have to get them over the OEM ones.

That would be great to see them at some point too thanks. Will have to arrange something when you get it back. Thanks again :).

Hi Marcus,

All I've done is change the front seats, the door cards aren't patterned anyway so it's just a difference in the texture of the material. The rear seats are still the patterned OEM ones.

It's a little disjointed but unless your comparing the front to the rear it's fine.

I think you can still buy them new, AFAIK these particular seats were made in 2003 ish. I bought then from Don who got them from someone who had bought them new some time around then.

Mike, is that a rare rear cusco strut brace by the way????? :D

Have managed to find them still for sale from any recaro dealer, theyre called Recaro Speed and come in loads of different finishes. Not sure how they would bolt in mind you. All for the princely sum of £555 plus postage

Yes it is the Cusco rear brace, I picked it up ages ago when they were still freely available. :)

Perhaps these subframes suggested by Johnyboy - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/130580107606?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

I have a cusco rear brace too but had to import it. Im really funny about strut braces, I have a front cusco also and it annoys me when my braces don't match!!!! :D

Its sacrilegious painting cusco braces black mike!!! :P

Maybe that's just me being a knob

Theres definitely a hole in the market for someone willing to produce aftermarket subframes for the gt4

I don't think so, they were going rusty anyway, so I had to do something with them.

I'm after an OEM style look and as I'm not planning on selling the braces or the car I don't have to worry about resale.

:)

What are you doing about the induction hose? You using oem or maybe a black samco jobbie?

The oem look when finished will look brilliant, look forward to keeping updated on the thread

Marcus - that's a great reminder - I haven't bought that hose yet!

Will probably be a matt black Samco one - the OEM one would be ideal but IIRC they are not very flexible and make removing the chargecooler a pain.
