Well I know that Adrian got just over 400bhp on the stock cams before switching to the 264s - the idea of the 264/256 combo was just one of my ramblings based on guesswork m8 so no need to take it as gospel  I reckon in theory it might prove a nice middle ground for a responsive trackable engine thats not quite as extreme as 264/264 or 272/264 combo so not needing to up the rev limit much to make the best of it. But as usual there needs to be a Guinea pig to test it out

500bhp is a lot of welly m8, should be an entertaining drive to say the least when its finished  8)

Cheers,
Mark

I am running over the 500 mark on 264's so the 272/264 should see some interesting results, i had sonic dyno'ed a couple of weeks ago unfortunatly it was with a blown head gasket and got 506 bhp 446 ftlb so i am in the middle of another re-build with some extra goodies.
Has anyone got a 272 inlet cam forsale or swop for 264 ?
As for the standard HG it does not like 500bhp
Thinking of designing my own S/S manifold to fit straight on the T3 with a wastegate take off, should be interesting.

Sorry to disapoint you but if you are trying that on a 205 it will not fit i dont think, the reason i say this is because on the left as you look at the bottom picture the 2 holes on the far left should be inline straight up and down. They look like the 185 stud pattern.
i might be wrong though.
Where is this from mate ?
sorry about not replying what was it you asked as i have not been on there for ages.

Cheers buddy.

How do you find these, any issues with cold starting. Trying to decide whether to go 8's or 9's and I was erring on the 9's already.

Thank you

Mat

Hi jon. sorry for the delay. Have been working late loads so completely forgot about this.

It appears to be 35mm with a placky ruler. Ill measure it properly when i get to the garage the weekend.

Mat it looks like we will have the same manifold, lets hope it will clear everything.getting a coated one so not to heat up my nice new paintwork to much. I have also ported my inlet manifold, just to see if i could really. You never know i might get one of these instead.

Cool

Well hopefully you'll know if it fits before me buddy. Be interesting to know what power caracteristics you get as im going to be running a lower spec turbo, as i didnt want too much lag...that may change though as the engine is good for loads :D

I used ATPturbo for all my turbo needs :D

think site is www.atpturbo.com
